Stripe, a membership tool and your Webflow pages
To sell subscriptions on a Webflow website, connect your Stripe account to a membership tool, create the monthly or yearly plans there, and add the tool's checkout to your Webflow pages. Webflow's pricing page does not say its Ecommerce plans sell subscriptions.
Webflow's help center once documented subscription products that needed Ecommerce, User Accounts and Stripe. Webflow User Accounts (also called Memberships) ended on January 29, 2026, and subscriptions already running stay in your Stripe account.
One subscription product with no member login needs no membership tool. Webflow's Stripe page points recurring payments to Stripe Payment Links in subscription mode, and Webflow's blog says any paid Site plan works, with no Ecommerce plan. A Payment Link is a link or buy button that Stripe creates. For logins, gated pages and a member record, use a tool.
Outseta has not approved us as an affiliate yet, so we earn nothing from these links.
Try Outseta →Connect Stripe to the membership tool
An Outseta site needs your own Stripe account, which handles the card transactions and deposits funds into your bank account. Connecting Stripe is the first step, and it includes choosing the currency to charge in. Stripe's methods work once enabled in Stripe: cards, ACH, Apple Pay, Google Pay and SEPA Direct Debit. PayPal is not available through Outseta.
Create monthly, yearly and one-time plans
Outseta supports monthly, quarterly and annual subscriptions, one-time products, setup fees, add-ons and per-user pricing. Each plan is set to individual or team registration.
You can give members a trial, with or without a card. By default Outseta asks for no payment information when a member starts a trial, and prompts payment at their next login after it ends. With a card required, the trial turns into a paid subscription automatically.
Your member trial is separate from Outseta's trial for you, which the pricing page text gives as 14 days and the structured data (code for search engines that visitors do not see) behind it as 7 days, converting to a paid plan unless you cancel.
Add checkout to your Webflow pages
Outseta's payments page says to integrate payments with your site through embeddable forms, pop-ups or payment links. On Webflow that means the Outseta script in custom code and buttons linked to the sign-up embed, its form for choosing a membership option and joining. Custom code is open to an active Site plan or a paid Workspace plan.
Outseta says new customers since October 1, 2026 get its v3, where account creation stays on your domain and checkout happens on a Stripe-hosted page.
Failed payments, refunds, tax and fees
Outseta automatically retries failed payments and notifies customers to update their payment details. You can process full or partial refunds from inside Outseta. For tax, switch on Stripe Tax in Stripe, enable it in Outseta, then toggle Collect Tax on each plan.
Outseta's payment fee comes on top of Stripe's: 2% on Start, 1% on Scale and Pro, and none on Max per its plan card. Start is $37 a month billed yearly or $47 a month billed monthly, as read on October 23, 2026, and Outseta pricing lists every plan. Stripe's card fee is typically 2.9% plus 30 cents in the US, per Outseta's pricing page.
Outseta invoices its fee monthly and does not refund it when a payment is refunded. Its release post says Stripe adds a 0.7% Billing fee on subscription payments for new accounts.
Outseta connects your own Stripe account and sells monthly, quarterly and annual subscriptions, one-time products and add-ons from sign-up embeds on your Webflow pages, on every plan from Start. Membership website cost adds the plan prices to these fees, and Webflow membership plugin lists the other tools.
