The Webflow app or a head script
Yes, Outseta works with Webflow two ways: through its Webflow app, which Outseta calls native, or through a head script, a few lines of code pasted into Webflow's custom code. The app is the plugin route; the head script is the manual one. Both need custom code, which a paid Site plan or a paid Workspace plan unlocks. Every Outseta plan lists authentication, protected content and Stripe payments.
Start is $47 a month billed monthly or $37 billed yearly, as read on October 23, 2026.

Try Outseta →Installing the Outseta Webflow app
Start an Outseta account first, because the app asks for your Outseta account address. The trial lasts 14 days on Outseta's visible pages; the structured data (code for search engines that visitors do not see) behind its pricing page says 7 days and a switch to a paid plan unless you cancel, which Outseta pricing explains.
- Connect Stripe in Outseta and add at least one plan for your members.
- Install the app from the Webflow Apps marketplace and authorize it.
- Enter your Outseta address, in the form yourdomain.outseta.com.
- Copy the head script the app shows into Webflow's Site settings, Custom code.
- Add sign-up and login forms from the Designer, then publish.
The head script and embeds by hand
By hand, you paste the Quick start head script, then add sign-up, login, profile and logout buttons or links. An embed is an Outseta form that opens as a pop-up or sits on a page. Each button's link setting takes a URL copied from Outseta, and Outseta shows or hides the buttons by login state.
Set the post-login page too; Outseta calls it the most important setting on that screen. Outseta's help center words some steps differently for v2 and v3; Webflow membership site says which to follow. For sign-in options see Webflow user authentication.
Gating pages and syncing CMS items
Content groups protect pages or folders by plan, and the data-o-plan-content attribute shows or hides one element. Outseta describes this gating as JavaScript-based. With the Webflow app, a new member's account-specific page can be published as a CMS item in a folder or collection you choose.
Webflow's free Starter plan has no custom code unless the Workspace is on a paid plan. Memberstack works through its own official Webflow app and data attributes. Pick Memberstack for that route; pick Outseta when billing, CRM and email should sit in one account. Outseta vs Memberstack compares them.
