Who runs Outseta
Outseta is run by Outseta LLC, a named company, and its terms of service are governed by the laws of the United States. As read on October 23, 2026, its pricing page sells four plans, starting at $37 a month billed yearly or $47 a month billed monthly.
Outseta says its team is fully remote and that it has been around since 2016, both Outseta's own claims. Its terms, privacy policy and company page print no physical address. The facts that bear on "is Outseta a scam" are a named company, public terms and member payments that run through your own Stripe account. The Outseta review covers the product itself.

Outseta's security article says passwords are hashed with PBKDF2 and customer data sits in Amazon RDS with encryption at rest. It says Outseta does not store payment information on its servers, and card payments run through your own Stripe account.
Outseta keeps a customer's data for one year after the subscription expires, and customers can sign a data processing agreement. Those are Outseta's statements about itself. The footer badges, "Stripe verified partner" and "gdpr compliant", are claims too, and Outseta's pages name no SOC 2 audit report.
Outseta describes its content protection as JavaScript-based. For sensitive content its help center says the server must verify the member, using a signed token (JWT) that your backend checks. This is product information, not legal or security advice.
Outseta's terms that matter before you pay
The terms say subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel. Fee changes take effect at the end of a cycle after reasonable prior notice, and Outseta says it attempts at least 30 days' notice for material changes to the terms.
Outseta offers a 14-day trial on its visible pages, and only the structured data (code for search engines that visitors do not see) behind its pricing page says 7 days. Its pricing page prints a "30-day money back guarantee", while its terms say "paid Subscription fees are non-refundable" except when required by law. The Outseta free trial guide sets those side by side.
What Webflow and rival vendors say about Outseta
Webflow ended its own User Accounts feature on January 29, 2026. Its announcement names Outseta and Memberstack as its "top recommended partners".
Memberstack's comparison page claims that, unlike Outseta, Memberstack can be tried with no credit card; Outseta's sign-up page says its own trial needs none.
The comparison page of FrameAuth (formerly FramerAuth) puts Outseta at $47 a month and 2% of every payment, which is Start, billed monthly, on Outseta's pricing page; Scale and Pro take 1%.
Pick Memberstack, the other partner Webflow named, when you want logins and payments without a CRM; its comparison page says it works with the CRM you already use.
