What Webflow removed and what stayed

A Webflow memberships migration is an import: members exported from Webflow User Accounts (also called Memberships) go into another member tool, and no Webflow tool does the move.

Webflow's help center says you can export User Accounts data with its CSV tools and also that after January 29, 2026 you lose access to User Accounts and all of its data, so the export had to happen before that date.

Webflow says that data was not migrated to the CMS, content gates were removed and members can no longer log in. Paid subscriptions made through Webflow Ecommerce are different: Webflow says they stay in your Stripe account and subscribers continue to be charged. Billing alone does not force a move. Logins and gated content do.

Exports to gather: the Webflow CSV and Stripe

Webflow documented the export as Export users in the Designer's Users panel, available only in the Designer. The CSV includes custom field data. Files attached to users export as Webflow-hosted links that break if the original site is deleted. Webflow's sunset article says access is lost after January 29, 2026, and Webflow documents no later export route.

For paying members, Outseta's switch page asks for two Stripe exports, Customers and Subscriptions. Webflow Ecommerce subscriptions that stayed in Stripe sit in those exports, and Outseta's import file carries the Stripe customer ID.

Importing into Outseta or Memberstack

To move into Outseta, you send a request; Outseta responds within 48 hours, then imports a pilot batch of customers, subscriptions and Stripe tokens, with your account in manual payment processing mode. Its self-serve import tool recommends a pilot of 3 to 5 subscribers.

Memberstack says you can export members from Webflow and upload them, and that for paid members Stripe customer IDs transfer so paid plans keep working. Passwords, drip emails and double charges

Passwords do not carry over. Outseta says to trigger a password-reset email so customers set a new one, while their cards and billing continue uninterrupted. Memberstack says passwords do not carry over for security reasons.

Outseta's import help adds two warnings. Importing new subscribers triggers any drip email campaign already set up. And cancel the previous subscriptions after the import, or customers may be charged by both Outseta and the previous provider. Canceling ends the old subscription, so wait until the pilot batch looks right.

Moving off Memberstack or MemberSpace later

Memberstack exports members as a CSV with email and Stripe customer ID, plus a second export of plan data with the Stripe subscription ID. MemberSpace says its team imports members from a spreadsheet and syncs payment details when Stripe customer IDs exist.
