What the plugin does on a Framer site
The Outseta Framer plugin adds Outseta's script to a Framer site and puts sign-up, login and profile forms on its pages. Outseta Start, the entry plan, is $37 a month billed yearly or $47 a month billed monthly, plus a 2% payment fee, as read on October 23, 2026.
An embed is one of Outseta's forms, shown as a pop-up or placed on a page.

Try Outseta →Installing the plugin on a Framer site
Removing a hand-pasted script deletes it from the site header, so copy it somewhere safe first.
- Remove any Outseta script pasted by hand. Outseta says you must do this before using the plugin.
- Open the plugin's Custom Code tab and enter your Outseta domain, such as yoursite.outseta.com.
- For a pop-up, paste the popup URL into the Link field of a button or link component.
- For a form on the page, use Embed mode to add the sign-up, login or profile embed.
Logout is a link only, with no embed mode.
The manual script route
Without the plugin, Outseta's manual article has you add the script yourself. Framer's custom code lesson puts Custom Code under Site Settings. Include monitorDom: true in the script, which Outseta marks as required for Framer. To move from the plugin to this route, toggle off Enable Outseta on the plugin's Custom Code tab first.
Testing before launch
Publish the site and run the full flow on the live URL: sign up, log in, open the profile, log out. Outseta says embeds do not work in Framer's preview mode.
Outseta has no testing or staging environment out of the box. Test accounts can be marked as demo accounts, which excludes them from reports, and a staging account can be requested after launch. Its trial covers every feature: the pricing page text says 14 days, while the structured data (code for search engines that visitors do not see) behind it says 7 days and a conversion to a paid plan unless you cancel.
Outseta or FrameAuth on Framer
FrameAuth (formerly FramerAuth) is a membership plugin for Framer only, and it takes no cut of sales. Its Starter plan is $29.99 a month billed monthly, for up to 1,000 users, as read on October 23, 2026. Outseta Start billed monthly is $47 plus a 2% payment fee, for up to 1,000 contacts, a unit its pricing page does not define.
Take an example Framer site with 300 members paying $20 a month each: $6,000 in monthly payments. Stripe's card fee, typically 2.9% plus 30 cents in the US per Outseta's pricing page, comes to $264 on both.
Outseta Start totals $431: $47, a $120 payment fee and $264. FrameAuth Starter totals $293.99: $29.99 and $264. Totals exclude taxes and the 0.7% Stripe Billing fee that Outseta's release post says new accounts pay on subscriptions.
Pick Outseta when one account should also hold a CRM, email and help desk. Pick FrameAuth for a Framer-only site that wants logins and payments with no cut of sales. Outseta vs FrameAuth sets the plans side by side, and Framer membership plugin covers the wider field.
